Michael Porter is an economist, researcher, author, advisor, speaker and teacher. Throughout his career at Harvard Business School, he has brought economic theory and strategy concepts to bear on many of the most challenging problems facing corporations, economies and societies, including market competition and company strategy, economic development, the environment, and health care. His extensive research is widely recognized in governments, corporations, NGOs, and academic circles around the globe. His research has received numerous awards, and he is the most cited scholar today in economics and business. While Dr. Porter is, at the core, a scholar, his work has also achieved remarkable acceptance by practitioners across multiple fields.
W. Chan Kim is the Co-Director of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute, Professor of Strategy and International Management, and the Boston Consulting Group Bruce D. Henderson Chair Professor of International Management at INSEAD, France. Prior to joining INSEAD, he was a professor at the University of Michigan Business School, US. He has served as a board member as well as an advisor for a number of multinational corporations in Europe, the US, and Asia-Pacific region. He is an advisory member of the European Union and serves as an advisor to several countries. He was born in Korea.
Renée Mauborgne is The INSEAD Distinguished Fellow and a professor of strategy at INSEAD, the world's second largest business school. She is also Co-Director of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute. Mauborgne served on President Barack Obama’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) for the President’s two terms. She is also a Fellow of the World Economic Forum.
